Dragon’s Lair was first released via laser disc in 1983. With a cartoon-like appearance crafted by former Disney animator Don Bluth, Dragon’s Lair charmed nearly all who played it with its revolutionary appearance. Since its initial release, the game has been ported to various platforms including iOS most recently, but has never been brought to a home console in high-definition and with motion controls, like the XBLA version will feature.
